December and New Year’s Eve at Hiša Franko carry their own quiet magic. Far from city noise, office parties, and the season’s frantic pace, we celebrate with intention: gatherings filled with warmth and light, with intensity, exuberance, and contrast.

As nature shifts, so does our menu, revealing its own winter beauty: roots and tubers, complex ferments, cave-aged cheeses, and the sweetest trout from the glacial Soča River.
