At Hiša Franko, autumn is a celebration of white truffles and we still believe the best ones come from just across our mountains, in the Motovun Forest near the Mirna Valley in Istria. On clear days, we can see it from the peaks above our house. We are not far. We’re right above it.

From October, our Footprints menu will feature 2–3 truffle dishes as part of the dining experience. Guests may also add dedicated truffle dishes or add-ons to the menu at a surcharge. Please note that truffles are subject to seasonal availability, typically until early December.
